GenieJet is a revolutionary inkjet polyester plate-making system for offset printing.
It combines the precision and quality of Epson Stylus Pro inkjet printers, and Epson’s Ultrachrome K3 inks, with the world's first, process free, polyester inkjet plate.
The Magic is all in the Plate – The GenieJet system does not require any modification to the Epson printer, and uses only genuine Epson inks to image the plate.
The GenieJet plates are supplied in standard cut sizes and thickness to suit your press.
The GenieJet System is straightforward, it comprises of the Epson Stylus Pro printer to suit your press size, the PC based GenieRIP software, and a heater to force dry the plate.
The GenieJet work-flow is just as straightforward, design the job using your own choice of software, print the job to the RIP, image the plate, force dry it, wipe the entire surface with GenieAffinity, and then just simply mount the plate on your press, wet it and print.
On the press GenieJet will print up to 10,000 impressions, using standard press inks and GenieAffinity fount solution.
GenieJet plate-making is process free and a dry imaging process, it doesn’t involve any pre-press chemistry. Therefore worries of disposal of hazardous chemistry are no more.
The GenieJet plates are designed for production of any short to medium run commercial work of single color and spot colors. It also offers the Quick Printers the opportunity to upgrade from laser plates to four color capable inkjet plates.

- Reverse type reproduction – 6-8 pt
- Dot reproduction – 2-95% dot
- Screen Ruling – up to 175 lpi
- Physical Dot Gain – 25 - 40% on print
